Constructing a square and circle of equal perimeter with only a compass and straight edge is known in Sacred Geometry as "squaring the circle."
Squaring the circle symbolizes the union of cosmic and terrestrial forces to promote fertility and creativity: the most crucial exercise in Sacred Geometry.
The Great Pyramid and the plan of the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21 are both exercises in squaring the circle.
The relative dimensions of the Earth and the Moon can also be used to square the circle.

In the diagram above, the circle inside the square is the Earth, the circles outside represent the relative size of the moon. As can be seen from the diagram, the diameter of the Earth, added to the diameter of the moon, produce the diameter of a circle. The circumference of this circle is exactly the same as the lengths of the sides of the square which encloses the Earth. These facts indicate a vibrational, harmonic relationship between the Earth and the Moon, and a perfection in nature, which is truly astounding.
Thus, the dimensions of the Moon can be used to determine the circumference and diameter of a cirle which is precisely equalivalent to the length of the sides of a square which encloses the Earth. The two bodies are harmonically related and prove in themselves an outworking of perfection.
When circles of the Moon are added to the diagram, it can be seen that they form the sides of a twelve sided figure, adding to the evidence pointing to the overall significance of the number twelve in the administration of the cosmic scheme and the validity of the harmonic basis of astrology, because this twelve fold extension of singular reality can be generated out of the perfection of the squared circle.
It was well known in every age except the present that the knowledge of these relationships and dimensions (the cosmic canon) came from above. The learned ancients knew there was a spiritual dimension to existence which is vortically vibratory in nature. This knowledge came through inner connection with Source, and grew into the study of vibrations by Pythagorus and many others.

God is a geometer, as Masonry says, and one of the best examples of evidence is this fact that the Earth and the Moon square the circle in their relative dimensions.
This is a very good example of pure perfection in nature.
Stonehenge, Glastonbury Abbey, the Great Pyramid, Plato's city in "Laws', the New Jerusalem, all demonstrate this knowledge about squaring the circle and its implications for understanding the nature of reality. The signs of astrology are probably the best known consciousness map which posit a twelve-fold understanding of a spherical reality. It is a well tested and reliable system.
It would seem that those we have regarded as primitive were in fact more in tune with great truths, regardless of the state of their material well-being.
